Hi! I'm Kana, a UXUI designer currently based in Berlin, Germany.
Born and raised in Tokyo, I am a bilingual, multi-cultural UXUI designer with over seven years of design experience.
I am currently an UXUI designer at Paessler AG, helping design network monitoring software to help ensure a seamless monitoring experience of IT infrastructure for our users.
I am passionate about breaking down problems into approachable stories, and helping generate a powerful solutions that are simple, original, and impactful which put users first.
why ux/ui design?
A hybrid of my passions
With my study background in Art and Psychology, I began working as a graphic designer in advertising. I then heard about UXUI design, got curious, educated myself, and realized it is the perfect profession for me that combines my passion for Psychology and Design.
I am constantly curious about learning and thinking about ways design changes the way we think, feel and behave. I think everybody values design consciously or unconsciously.
I believe that I have a special opportunity to help people through transforming complex situations into simple, delightful moments.
what's my mission?
To make people happy by simplifying and improving things.
While we live in a world where technology is everywhere, the more technology doesn't mean more convenience. Things progress fast, and sometimes things become more complex instead. That's why we need design, because it allows us to think and care about how to provide the best experience for users.
I enjoy building new ideas from zero or improving existing products so they can offer the most pleasant outcome for both users and businesses.
